Our client is adding a Warehouse Associate to their team in Hamilton. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work with their hands; can confidently use a computer-based system and is comfortable handling personal-use health equipment. Our client needs a Warehouse Associate who wants to be the gatekeeper for assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, cleaning, and packing as items enter or exit the dock. What you will do
Inventory control. You will be a crucial part of warehouse organization; holding responsibility for all mobility devices, tools, and parts stored. In this role, you will tag, price, clean, and organize personal mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment, and power scooters efficiently and accurately.
Manage shipping and receiving. You will quickly learn how to navigate our shipping software and will use it to keep a meticulous, updated record of warehouse items. You will track:
What you bring
Education and Experience. You have a high school diploma and ideally 2 years of relevant experience in an inventory handling and/or a general warehouse role.
Communication Skills. You can clearly communicate in person and provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
Additional Must Have Requirements. You are able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds in order to move or repair equipment and devices. You have a clean criminal background check and are bondable.
The Nice to Haves. Bonus points if you have experience using Outlook and Navision in a warehouse setting.
