The opportunity 

Our client, a commercial real estate technology organization, is seeking a strategic and highly organized Senior Manager, VAS Product Innovation & Delivery Operations who thrives at the intersection of business, product, and technology. You will act as the operational bridge between Valuation Advisory Services, Product, and Engineering, translating business priorities into clear requirements and ensuring they move through the delivery lifecycle with structure, visibility, and momentum.

You will help the organization move from individual, knowledge-dependent ways of working toward a more scalable and repeatable operating model for bringing new capabilities from business needs through delivery. You will bring discipline to intake, backlog management, governance, delivery tracking, testing, release readiness, and adoption while partnering closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and Product Managers.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape how the organization identifies, prioritizes, delivers, and learns from new capabilities supporting commercial real estate valuation and insights. 

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position based in Toronto, Ontario.

Your work will create greater clarity around what gets prioritized, how decisions are made, and how new capabilities move from idea to release, giving you meaningful influence over how technology evolves to support commercial real estate valuation and insights.

Own a high-visibility operating mandate. You will sit at the intersection of senior business leaders, subject matter experts, Product, and Engineering, with visibility across the full delivery lifecycle. You will be trusted to bring structure to complex priorities, surface risks and dependencies, and keep important initiatives moving, making your impact visible across the business and technology organization.

Build something that scales. You will help turn fragmented knowledge, informal processes, and individual ways of working into a more consistent operating model. Your work will create repeatable practices that reduce dependency on individual knowledge, improve transparency, and make it easier to bring future capabilities from business need through delivery.
 

You will  

• Create a reliable source of truth. You will work with VAS business leaders, subject matter experts, and the VAS Product Council to understand priorities and translate business needs into clear, structured requirements. You will establish and maintain a consistent intake process so requirements, priorities, decisions, and next steps are documented, understood, and ready to move forward.
• Strengthen backlog and delivery readiness. You will partner closely with Product Managers to maintain and refine the product backlog, supporting prioritization, identifying dependencies, and ensuring requirements are ready for sprint planning and delivery. You will connect business priorities with solution discussions, timelines, dependencies, and feedback throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Create momentum through governance. You will establish a predictable rhythm for governance meetings, working sessions, prioritization forums, and sprint demos. You will ensure decisions are made, actions have clear owners, dependencies are visible, and risks and blockers are progressed rather than left unresolved.
• Coordinate delivery and release readiness. You will track progress across VAS, Product, Engineering, and other teams, providing leadership with clear visibility into delivery status, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies. You will coordinate testing and UAT, support business readiness ahead of releases, and escalate blockers when needed to maintain momentum.
• Drive adoption and close the feedback loop. You will help prepare business users for new capabilities and coordinate post-release feedback to understand what is working, where adoption may be falling short, and what additional support or improvements may be required. You will help ensure delivered capabilities are evaluated against their intended business outcomes and that lessons learned inform future priorities.
• Build a scalable operating model. You will identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate how VAS operates, turning individual knowledge and informal practices into documented, repeatable processes. You will capture requirements, decisions, delivery outcomes, and lessons learned so the organization becomes less dependent on individual knowledge and more consistent in how it executes.

You bring

• The experience. You have worked in product operations, product delivery, business analysis, program management, or a related role where you have helped move complex product or platform initiatives from business need through delivery. You understand how to bring structure to evolving priorities, manage dependencies and stakeholders, and keep multiple workstreams moving forward while maintaining alignment across business, Product, Engineering, and other teams.
• The product and delivery skills. You know how to turn business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, or implementation plans that Product and Engineering teams can act on. You have experience working with backlogs and supporting activities such as prioritization, sprint planning, demos, UAT, testing, release readiness, and adoption.
• The ability to connect business and technology. You can work effectively with business leaders, subject matter experts, Product Managers, and technical teams, translating across different perspectives and keeping everyone aligned on priorities, decisions, and next steps. You are confident engaging senior stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and balancing competing demands while keeping multiple priorities and workstreams moving forward.
• The organizational skills. You bring structure and clarity to complex work. You can manage multiple priorities, timelines, risks, decisions, and dependencies while maintaining clear documentation and ensuring commitments are followed through. You communicate clearly in writing and conversation and can adapt the level of detail for working teams, senior leaders, and executives.
• The critical thinking. You are curious and resourceful, with the judgment to look beyond the immediate request and understand the business problem behind it. You can translate and articulate complex ideas in simple, clear terms, adapting your communication to different audiences. You are comfortable using AI and other tools to work more effectively while applying your own judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail to ensure the quality of your work.
• The improvement mindset. You look for ways to make complex work easier to understand, execute, and scale. You are comfortable identifying gaps in processes, challenging established ways of working, and turning lessons learned into practical improvements. You understand that effective delivery is not only about getting a capability released, but also about ensuring it is adopted, delivers its intended value, and creates insight for what comes next.
• The industry and tools. Experience with commercial real estate, valuation, or a related environment would help you ramp up quickly but is not required. Familiarity with backlog and delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, or similar platforms, as well as collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Confluence, is an asset. Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven product initiatives, automation, or process improvement initiatives would also be beneficial.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $115,000 - $135,000

Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
