Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics
The opportunity
Our client’s complex supply and logistics operations are rapidly scaling. To support this growth, they are hiring a Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics. This is a role for someone who values accountability, influence, and the ability to see their decisions translate into real operational outcomes.
In this role, you will oversee a logistics and supply support team, driving operational excellence, process efficiency, and scalable systems that keep pace with increasing customer demand. You will partner closely with implementation teams, customer support teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure products are delivered seamlessly, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is a full-time, hybrid role, working on site, Tuesdays and Thursdays in Kanata, Ottawa.
Why this role?
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, is passionate about supply chain optimization, and enjoys building structure and process within evolving operations. You will be trusted to develop people, strengthen internal and external collaboration, and make a visible impact on compliance, quality, and performance.
If you are seeking to expand your impact and influence, this is a role that offers broad ownership across supply chain, logistics, and order management in a hardware-centric environment. It is the chance to work close to the business, with direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to shape how forecasting, inventory planning, and performance measurement evolve as the organization scales.
You will:
- Lead and develop a team. You will manage, mentor, and support the supply and logistics team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and engagement. You will set priorities and performance expectations, build a culture of transparency and collaboration, and support continuous improvement through coaching, development, and the provision of tools and systems that enable the team to operate at its best.
- Oversee supply chain and order management. You will manage end-to-end inventory control, demand forecasting, supplier relationships, and order management processes. This includes improving forecasting accuracy in a variable demand environment, strengthening inventory planning and MRP practices, and ensuring order management flows smoothly across CRM and ERP systems. You will anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks while balancing cost, efficiency, and service levels.
- Promote safety and compliance. You will ensure adherence to customs, import/export, regulatory, health, safety, and internal security standards across North America, EMEA, and other international markets. You will support teams in maintaining rigorous compliance practices while enabling operational agility.
- Measure performance and optimize operations. You will lead the ongoing optimization of supply chain, logistics, and third-party operations, across North America and Europe, and an HQ-based specialist. You will establish and monitor KPIs related to SLA adherence, lead times, accuracy, and cost efficiency. You will track and analyze performance metrics across forecasting, inventory, order management, and delivery execution, and use data insights to implement improvements that scale with organizational growth.
- Collaborate across multi-team operational functions. You will partner closely with implementation and customer support leadership and their teams, and the post-installation function to improve planning, communication, and execution. You will ensure clarity of roles, accountability, and alignment across all operational functions while driving continuous improvement initiatives and scalable system enhancements.
- Drive systems and process improvement. You will support the design and refinement of systems and processes that enable reliable order management, supplier coordination, and inventory control. This includes identifying automation opportunities, optimizing workflows across ERP and CRM platforms, and ensuring processes evolve in step with growth and operational complexity.
You bring:
- The experience. You have progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or order management, ideally within hardware or technology-enabled environments. You have led or supported change initiatives and understand how to improve processes, implement controls, and manage KPIs effectively. Experience building or refining systems in scaling organizations is strongly valued. Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma is considered an asset.
- The leadership. You are an effective people leader who can coach, mentor, and develop teams while balancing multiple priorities. You take initiative and work with urgency, encouraging your team to do the same and fostering a culture where everyone takes ownership and can adapt easily to evolving priorities. You are comfortable providing clear direction and feedback and supporting teams through change. You remain calm under pressure and can make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- The technical skills. You are proficient with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Excel, and operational analytics tools. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is an asset, as is an interest in automation and technology-enabled process improvement.
- The interpersonal skills. You have professional and flexible communication skills, able to adapt your messaging to fit your audience. You can build trust and credibility across teams and levels, partnering effectively with deployment, field operations, and leadership.
